Abstract

To determine the geographical distribution of meat herds affected by infectious reproductive diseases and the prevalence of one of them, a cross-sectional survey of farms and cattle throughout the country was carried out. The sampling frame consisted of the DI.CO.SE. declaration, and the universes were all establishments holding breeding cows and their breeding populations.
