A case of a tumor of the granulosa-cell, of the ovary in the heifer is descrived, with its latter anathomo-pathological study.

This type of tumour has an special clinical interest, for it can cause endocrinal disturbances, altering the sexual behaviour of the afected female.

It includes a bibliographical review, sumarising the principal findings and characteristics described by those authors.

The case is discussed, comparing it with those reprted by other workers, particularly their several clinical aspects and sexual disturbances.

It is concluded in the importance of careful and complete examinations of the genital tract in animals with uncommon reproductive stories.

It is also emphasised in the cautions to be taken in the rectal exploration, due to the possibility of provoke the death of the animal by internal haemorragy. In order to avoid mistakes in the diagnosis, it is important to make a diferential diagnosis between these tumor and ovarian cysts as well as early pregnancies.
