A case of abdominal pain in a male jaguar is described. Collateral analysis confirmed the diagnosis of giardias presumably associated with pancreatic disorders. Treatment established was affective and the animal is now in good sanitary conditions. Parasitary analysis of faeces for over a year revealed complete absence of cysts from giardia lamblia.
