Abstract

Review on Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs), rare neurodegenerative diseases of the central nervous system, some of which affect humans and others animals. Spongiform encephalopathies transmissible from animals to man, zoo animals, and human TSEs are briefly presented.
