Calculo de las pérdidas de producción de leche causadas por mastitis subclínica

Abstract

A formula to calculate directly milk, prodruction loss due to subclinical Mastitis is presented, after making the CMT on simple from all quarters.

96.8 % of ideal production is the milk yield obtained under the best Mastitis conditions where Qs with CMT 1 are 10 %; Qs with CMT 2 are 3 % and Qs with CMT 3 are 2 %.

The need to unify criteria regarding milk loss due to affected quarters as well as the achievement of ideal levels of subclinical Mastitis, through control and preventive programmes.
