La enfermedad de Aujeszky

Abstract

The main aspects of Aujeszky's Disease are reviewed. Clinical features, pathology and differential diagnosis, basis for clinical suspicion are outlined. The control attemps and eradication measures carried out in countries where the disease is enzootic, or where serious outbreaks have occurred, are describen. Finally, practitians and sanitary authorities are warned about its probable occurrence in Uruguay.
