Abstract

Since the main role of pastures is to provide food for animals, it is essential, in order to achieve high production together with high profit, to find the most efficient methods of using these pastures. In turn, this consists, fundamentally, of managing the animals in such a way that they can convert the forage into animal product with the minimum of losses.
