Abstract

The prenatal sex determination in farm animals species of interest, is an estrategic goal from a productive point of view. In this work the DNA amplification in vitro technique (PCR) was used to detect male specific markers (sex marker), using the DNA of six Holstein breed bovines. It was posible the detections of male markers DNA amplification using as little as 5 pg of DNA samples. The diagnostic method applied to bovine resulted specific, sensitive, rapid and economic.
