Hematological Values of Creole Cattle from the Mixtec Region (Mexico)

Thirty five blood simple of creole male bovine in center of Tlacotepec de Benito Juárez, Puebla, Mexico, were analyzed. The arithmetic mean of the standard deflection were: erythrocytes (RBCs), hemoglobin (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), mean cell volume (MCV), mean hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), leokucytes and platelets. Besides the age of bovines was estimated by means of teeth eruption, with the result of 17.3 months; the hematic values were (x¯ ±: RBCs=7.22±1.04, Hb = 9.98 ± 0.93, PCV = 31.27± 3.5, MCB = 43.8 ±5.06, MHC = 14 ± 1.6 y MCHC= 32.03 ± 1.14, leukocytes= 6.27 ±1.8, platelets= 472.71 ± 166.2. The values of the mixteco Creole bovine were lower. It is necessary to keep along the research of others physiological parameters which let us recognize possible pathologies and have deeper knowledge about mixteco Creole bovine.
