Abstract

The biochemistry, organic synthesis and metabolism of prostaglandins and synthetic analogs were submitted to a review. Biological implications in a great number of physiological functions were recorded.

The importance of PG FB or and analogs in relation with reproductive system was underlined in order of present knowledge and importance in Veterinary Science.
