Canine dermatitis due to TYROGLYPHUS LONGIOR is diagnosed in Uruguay for the first time.
Lesions caused by the mite and its morfology and biology are described. Guide lines for its diagnosis are given and differential diagnosis is discussed.
A successful therapy is established.
The importance of its search in bromatology and veterinary is pointed aut.
