Abstract

A working methodology in orden to control paratuberculosis (Johne's disease) in and infected dairy Farm where Myoobacterium johnel was isolated is described. During 18 months the M. johnel spreader bovines were detected and send immediately to a slaughter-house. Before the control measures were applied the incidence of bovines spreader was 8.58% and mortality due to paratuberculosis of 1.4% in the dairy farm. After the working period the incidence decresed to 1.74% and O.33% respectively. Measures of animal handling and hygiene of the installations are proposed as control of the disease at a farm level.
