Abstract

The publication of some works that make up the content of "Fundamentals of Scientific Communication and Technical Writing" continues, which is number XVI of the DIALOGO Series edited by the IICA / BID / PROCISUR Program. For both researchers and technicians in general, it is very important to know the logical structure that a scientific article should have. The author emphasizes in this work the logical order to which the different parts that confirm a scientific article must conform. Thus, starting with the title, it should continue with the compendium, introduction, literature review, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusions, summary and cited literature. This arrangement allows the reader to follow the sequence that goes from knowing what it is about, the development of the work itself, to the new contributions that its realization determines. The fact of being able to follow a work sequentially is strictly linked to the understanding of the topic addressed by it.
