Digital dermatitis

Abstract

The existence of "Digital Dermatitis" (Mortellaro's disease) was verified in a dairy with 200 milking cows, in the "Villa Vieja" area, Florida department, Uruguay. The typical lesions of the disease are found, whose morbidity is 6%, the patients are treated, according to current criteria, internationally accepted, with very good results.
