Abstract

Within the framework of a study of the parasitological fauna in the "Pampas deer" (Ozotoceros bezoarticus, Linnaeus 1759), the discovery of a pulmonary helminth of the family Metastrongylidae (Leiper, 1908) genus Muellerius (Müller, 1898; Cameron, 1927) is reported for the first time in Uruguay.
