Risk analysis for the promotion of international agricultural trade

Abstract

Risk analysis and risk management are applied in political, social, diplomatic and legal decisions involving health, insurance, technology, economic, legal and national and international security issues. The specific case of animal health in risk analysis is used by countries that are free of highly dangerous diseases such as FMD. Risk analysis and assessment based on scientific knowledge, international standards and transparent and smooth communication will ensure international exchange of animals and animal products within the new minimum or controlled risk model.
