Abstract

The obstruction or occlusion of the nasolacrimal duct in dogs and cats is a common condition managed at the Veterinary clinics. Nasolacrimal obstruction is manifested by epiphora with serious dermatitis in the eyes and face producing estetic problems. White poodles usually suffer from this condition. The purpose of this work is to identify successful treatments for defective lachrymal drainage in 56 dogs and 9 cats.
