Importance of clinical review of epididymis in bovine semen production

Abstract

The crucial importance of in-depth clinical review of epididymides in those reproducers that may eventually be used massively is reaffirmed, especially as sperm donors. Clinical cases detected in bulls of great zootechnical value are described. A question mark is opened over the inbreeding resulting from the massive use of artificial insemination, embryo transfer and related biotechnologies.
