A 50 kg, 7 year old, male not castrated Rottweiler was presented in cardiology consulting, with syncopal episodes clinic history and successfully response to atropine. He presented dysneic with bad perfusion and pulse deficits. Clinical and six lead conventional ECG exams were made. The ECG evidenced ventricular tachycardia, with more than 28 extrasistolic consecutive beats. Under ECG monitoring we started a therapy using intravenous Amiodarone clorhydrate attending the cardiac rhythm, PR and QT intervals, during and after the administration. A total dose of 1200 mg, in a period of 4 hours, had been delivered when the dog's heart converted into sinus rhythm, resulting in clinical and electrocardiographic stabilization.
