Abstract

CT 1341 (Alfatesin) was clinically evaluated as sole anaesthetic agent in cats by Intraperitoneal Route. 9 total of 26 cases has been studied, divided into two groupes: one formed by animals clinically healthy to which ovariectomy was practiced and the other by animals affected by diseases which Required Surgical Operations.

The effects of the drug are indicated. It is concluded that intraperitoneal Route Should be prefered because it is easy to administer and because no adverse side effects have been observed.
